The Keychron K8 Pro is the world's first wireless mechanical QMK/VIA keyboard and paves the way for a new era of mechanical keyboards. Any keys or macro commands can be easily programmed and reassigned for macOS, Windows and Linux via VIA. The K8 Pro is one of the few keyboards on the market that has the same multimedia and function key features as Apple keyboards for Mac users, but with better tactile feedback - all in a compact tenkeyless format. The sound-absorbing foam, thick silicone cushioning on the bottom and steel plate provide responsive feedback and a quiet typing experience, while the added weight increases the K8 Pro's stability on the desk. Stabilizers are also bolted to the circuit board, allowing for smoother typing with less wobble on the large keys such as space, shift, enter and delete. The hot-swappable sockets are mounted on the board so that switches can be installed or changed without soldering. The renowned Gateron G Pro switch features an optimized shape, more precise positioning and factory pre-lubrication that significantly improves dexterity. To further refine the typing experience, the K8 Pro is equipped with the unique OSA profile (OEM profile with spherical angle). Together with the adjustable typing angle in three steps (0º, 6º and 9º) and the inclined lower frame, the K8 Pro offers long-lasting ergonomic support for the wrist. The south-facing RGB LEDs are also designed to enhance the keyboard's backlighting from the typist's perspective, despite the non-translucent PBT keycaps.
