HEATKILLER V PRO graphics card coolers for Nvidia's RTX 4090 Founders Edition were specially developed to cope with the high power dissipation of 450 watts and more. In order to ensure a correspondingly high increase in performance, we opted for a modular high-performance base plate. Proven technologies such as the dual-layer airflow and the symmetrical cooling design have also been incorporated. The result in the form of the HEATKILLER V PRO series is impressive both visually and in terms of performance.

Modular high-performance base plate

In order to increase the cooling performance in the area of the GPU core, we have integrated a modular high-performance base plate into the heat sink. This ensures significantly higher cooling performance than a monolithic design thanks to finely slotted fins and the resulting increase in the cooling surface. We have chosen the fin structure in such a way that, in addition to increasing the performance of the GPU core, the flow is also kept high. All distances to heat-relevant components have been kept small, which means that the heat from thermal problem areas such as GDDR6X RAM and voltage converters is ideally dissipated.

The PEEK spacers made from high-performance plastic ideally insulate the cooler from the circuit board and make installation easier. The legendary Kryonaut thermal paste from Thermal Grizzly ensures the best possible heat transfer.

Dual layer inflow and symmetrical cooling design

The dual-layer inflow, like the symmetrical cooling design, can also be found in the PRO version of our HEATKILLER V GPU cooler. The increased inflow is particularly important for the high-performance base plate. The splitting of the water into two levels ensures better flow through the cooler. The wide and symmetrical flow paths optimize the flow and thus the general performance of the HEATKILLER V Pro cooler.

Selected high-performance thermal pads for GDDR6X

Our development department has invested a lot of time in finding the ideal thermal pads for the hot GDDR6X RAMs. We have found a thermal pad that significantly reduces the temperatures around the GDDR6X RAM compared to the very good standard pads.

Design-integrated side connection threads

Another innovation is the connection threads integrated into the side of the terminal. Together with the screwless cover and the backplate included in the package, the result is a cooler that looks like a single unit.

In order to achieve the best possible appearance, the HK V PRO was designed so that no electronic components of the circuit board are visible.

Backplate and aRGB in the package

The new cooler design relies on assembly including a backplate. In our case, the black backplate ensures improved distribution of forces around the cooling block. In addition to an impressive look, this also results in better temperatures.

The aRGB stripes used now have a modular structure and a compact plug-in system. Thanks to the high compatibility of our LEDs, the Heatkiller can be integrated into any lighting concept. The plug-in system also allows the cooler to be used quite easily without lighting.

Made in Germany

Production is carried out with the greatest care on our state-of-the-art CNC machinery in Waren an der Müritz. Many work steps are carried out by hand and each product is completed according to the four-eyes principle. Made in Germany, as you would imagine.
