Product information

The ULTITUBE D5 PRO LEAKSHIELD from Aquacomputer, comes as a combination, consisting of expansion tank and leakshield.

The borosilicate glass expansion tank, with a diameter of 65mm, has a very high hardness and scratch resistance, as well as very low thermal expansion and excellent chemical and thermal resistance. The base and the lid of the reservoir are made of acetal. In addition, a filter element is integrated in the base, which is easy to clean under running water, for example. The filter also reduces air bubbles.

The ULTITUBE is rounded off with an impressive RGBpx-compatible LED ring, with 13 addressable LEDs. This can be easily connected to the D5 NEXT pump.

With the LEAKSHIELD, the user almost no longer needs to worry about the tightness of his water cooling. Thanks to its negative pressure, the LEAKSHIELD actively protects against leaks. This means that no more coolant leaks out of the system. Of course, it does not protect against major damage, such as torn tubes. The air that enters is then pumped out of the system by the integrated vacuum pump.

Even before the water cooling system is put into operation for the first time, the LEAKSHIELD checks the system for leaks by creating a vacuum. The system is then checked for pressure changes.

It can also simplify filling by drawing the coolant directly from the bottle through a suction line.

Great res+pump combo

An amazing yet very beginner-unfriendly pump res combo that comes with the very nifty Leakshield.

The pump works at a minimum of 2000 rpm up to 5000 and offers a ton of options through the Aquasuite software which is, for all intents and purposes, mandatory when using this product. It's very quiet even at higher power output. Installation of the bracket is complete guesswork but easy enough to figure out. It also DOES NOT come with fan mounting brackets, you need to buy these separately which is kind of annoying.

Aquasuite is not a friendly software even for experienced watercoolers. But it integrates every aquacomputer part seamlessly and lets you go super deep into customization, having your various AC products work off of each other, or program alarms and shutdown switches for security.

The Leakshield installs very easily, just don't forget to put on the rubber gasket like I did. I have yet to face a leak so who knows how well it truly works, but the added safety definitely feels great. The system refill function is also quite nice but not necessarily a game changer. The deaeration function really does get rid of a lot of bubbles but don't expect it to bleed your whole loop on its own day 1. You will still need to cycle and/or tilt.

All in all I'd say it's definitely worth its price and one of the better pump/res combos you can buy on the market currently, but it also definitely could use better manuals somewhere down the line.

Hochwertiges Produkt mit hochwertigen Preis jedoch fehlenden Details der Einbaukomponenten, für eine vollständige Bestellung

Ein hochwertiges Produkt im oberen Preissegment.

Laut technischen Details soll es alles umfassen was man sich bei einem Wasser gekühltem System wünscht.

Da sich der Einbau noch ein wenig verzögert, kann ich bisher nur ein vorläufigen Bericht verfassen.

Die Größe des ULTITUBE D5 150 PRO ist nicht zu unterschätzen. Man sollte also sich bewusst sein, dass man ein entsprechendes Gehäuse mit Platz braucht.

Der größte Manko weswegen ich bisher auch nur einen vorläufigen Bericht verfassen kann, ist dass aus der Beschreibung oder den Details nicht hervorgeht, dass für die Montage des Ausgleichsbehälter auf einem Lüfter, eine entsprechende Halterung nicht beiliegt.

Diese Info erhält man erst sobald man das Produkt auspackt und die beiliegende Bedienungsanleitung liest.
