Thermal Grizzly DeltaMate Fitting - HT16 Black

The Thermal Grizzly DeltaMate HT16 Black is a high-quality rigid tube fitting specifically designed for custom water cooling systems using hard tubes. Maintaining the usual Thermal Grizzly quality, this fitting is CNC-machined from solid brass. As an alloy of copper and zinc, brass offers the advantage of being more corrosion-resistant and harder, while remaining anodically compatible with other metals in the cooling loop.

The fitting's seals (O-rings) are made from EPDM (ethylene propylene diene rubber), a material known for being particularly elastic and resistant to ozone and UV radiation, ensuring a long-lasting seal. The robust design allows for installation using an 8mm hex key, which guarantees a secure and tight fit. For seamless integration into the system, all DeltaMate fittings share a consistent outer diameter.

This fitting, with its G1/4-inch thread, is specifically suitable for hard tubes made of plastics or metals with a 16mm outer diameter. A special feature of the HT16 fitting is that the tube is mounted on top of the fitting, rather than being inserted. This design, with its flat base, simplifies precise length measurement and tube installation. A specially adapted O-ring with a large surface area holds the tube securely and with high retention force.

For an elegant and easy-to-clean finish, the fittings are treated with a matte black chrome coating. The compact overall dimensions of the connector make it easy to install in almost any water cooling loop.
