The EK-Pro GPU WB H100 NVL Rack – Nickel + Inox is a high-performance full-cover water block specifically engineered for the NVIDIA® H100 NVL Tensor Core PCIe data center GPU. Designed to make the entire GPU and cooling assembly as compact as possible, this solution effectively occupies just a single PCIe slot. The block features a rack-optimized terminal that significantly reduces overall height and improves compatibility with server chassis. Conforming to the Full Height Full Width (FHFW) server chassis form factor, it serves as a direct drop-in replacement for both active and passive dual-slot air coolers.
By covering the entire PCB, the water block channels coolant precisely across all key heat-generating areas — including the GPU die, HBM VRAM stacks, and voltage regulation modules (VRM) — ensuring uniform and highly efficient thermal transfer.
At the heart of the block is a dual-pass cooling engine, designed to maintain a high flow velocity through both stages of cooling. The coolant first passes through one microfin array to cool the first half of the GPU die and HBM stacks, then flows through a second array to cool the remaining half. This approach maintains optimal flow performance compared to single-pass systems, which would reduce velocity and thermal efficiency. The internal fin structure has been carefully optimized to ensure balanced flow distribution and minimal pressure loss, even in reverse flow scenarios.
To enhance structural integrity and card stability, the I/O bracket is built directly into the stainless steel top of the water block. It replaces the stock I/O shield and adds strength to the entire assembly. The integrated single-slot I/O bracket is ideal for space-constrained workstation and server builds, allowing the GPU to occupy only one PCIe x16 slot and leaving adjacent slots free for other expansion cards.
Included with the water block is an aesthetic and functional backplate, which reinforces the graphics card while also providing passive cooling to the VRM area on the rear side of the PCB. Precision cutouts in both the top and backplate ensure full compatibility with NVIDIA NVLink connectors.
At the rear, the water block features a precision-machined POM terminal block with two G1/4” ports for seamless integration with EK-Pro QDC kits and manifold systems, ideal for high-density compute deployments. A screw-in PCIe power connector bracket is also built into the top cover to ensure a stable power connection. High-quality EPDM O-rings provide excellent sealing, while pre-installed brass standoffs make installation fast and secure.
